In this video, you'll learn how to add zipper covers to your clothing design in VStitcher. First, draft a rectangle pattern piece that matches the width and height of your zipper opening. Add center corner points, an internal line, and a fold with a negative prepare angle. Then, lower the grid of the new pattern piece and set the layer to be higher than all the pieces that sit below it. Next, stitch one edge of the zipper cover to the center front edge of the hood and jacket, and stitch the edges of the zipper cover together. Finally, stitch the bottom edge of the zipper cover to the bottom edge of the zipper opening.
