The Original Game Boy is one of the biggest 'game changers' in the history of video games, and essentially ushered in the popularity of handheld games. There are many games that will be classic forever. There are, however, a much, much higher number of simply awful, forgettable, or downright weird games. CiB Game Boy Theater shows you some of the games you might not (and shouldn't be...) familiar with.

Baseball - which turns out to be a launch title - certainly plays like a launch title. With a name as simple as 'Baseball', what can you expect? It's certainly not as good as RBI Baseball on NES, but can you really expect that? I am certain this game was very impressive at launch, but it is one of those Game Boy games that simply doesn't stack up 30 years later.

Okay, here we go, an actual decent title - Gauntlet II. It's... Gauntlet. Which, let's be honest, is actually pretty impressive given the fact that it's a rather early Game Boy title. Despite the fact that it has no music (do we really want to hear the same 10 seconds looped the whole game, anyway?), this is a real quality Game Boy port. It's Gauntlet, so you get what you get, but this is easily one of the better Game Boy games we've played (which, over 100 games in, is kinda sad, huh?) - Thanks for watching!
