Jadoo Kathi is an originally composed song by Challenger The Band-CTB where the lyric talks about a love story of a boy and girl who are unknown to each other, grown up in different cities, eventually feel love for each other and finally got engaged for life. The song basically reflects the love between two teenagers who are strangers but becomes a loving couple gradually knowing each other through social medias. The story is quite common in our society and this kind of relationships are remarkably creating young among young generations. In this song CTB has tried to invite young generations to love the nature as well as go with modern technologies through this song ""Jadoo Kathi"" and its video. The word “Jadoo Kathi” means magic stick. Here nature, situation and sudden meeting of two unknown persons play the role of a magic stick that melt the hearts of two strangers and bring strong love for each other. This kind of stories are easy to find out now in our society like the visuals of the song.
CTB chooses 2D animated visuals for the video making of this song Jadoo Kathi. They think that it’s not always necessary to bring real characters on screen to represent a romantic love song, but animated characters can be a wide option to reach all kind of people, different generations and ultimately it’s a relaxation of thoughts and imagination too. The video of this song is also prepared by Tirtho with the help of his band members and friends Arunabha, Mrinmay, Soumavo, Aloke, Rivu and Rakesh.
This is a romantic song which was written and composed during the time of pandemic in August, 2020 by Tirthankar Biswas Tirtho, the lyricist and vocalist of the band. Then the others band members togetherly created the entire arrangement of the song and planned for a different release. Challenger The Band – CTB kept waiting for a proper audio visual released since that year. Some how the followers of the band already a big fan of this song.
