MC - 707 Tutorial - Using Clips To Send Program Changes To External Gear

Описание к видео MC - 707 Tutorial - Using Clips To Send Program Changes To External Gear

In this video, I show you how to set up a Track to send Program Change (PC) messages to external gear. In my example, a Roland JU-06A. This is useful to tell an external device to change either a patch on a synth or a pattern on a drum machine. Make sure your external device has a Midi In port and is able to receive PC messages (RxPCMsg or similar). Check the device's manual for details.

Using the Tracks 16 clips and clip or scene chaining, you can automatically switch between patches on your synth in performance without taking your hands off the keys, all in time with the rest of the gear. Super handy! Also, each clip can hold up to an 8 measure sequence that you create for that specific patch.
