This song was originally written by Audio Adrenaline as a Christian song. Normally I would be described as a "secular" person and I primarily do "secular music" but a great song is a great song and in this case I had to make an exception. Speaking in terms of just the music, I think the original version of this song by Audio Adrenaline is one of the greatest sounding songs ever written. Normally I don't put religion or politics into music I perform, but in this case, again, I had to make an exception. Hats off to Audio Adrenaline for writing a great piece of music. Had they written this for a mainstream audience, I think they would have made a lot more money.. but money obviously wasn't the point for them. I admire them for their dedication and devotion to their religion. They made the financial sacrifice to send their message the way they wanted to send it. I changed a few lyrics in this performance to kind of tone down the religious message, but I didn't tone it down too much. Me, personally, if I was a good enough of a musician to write this song, I would have written it to a woman to show my devotion to her. "I'll be your hands, I'll be your feet, I'll go where you send me, go where you send me," etc. I do all genres of music, I don't discriminate. I'm an equal opportunity music performer, that's why I did a Karaoke performance of this song.
