Enjoy the relaxing sights and sounds of the Rock Glen Falls in Arkona, Ontario. Located in the Rock Glen Conservation Area and near the Pinery Provincial Park, this is a great location for residents or visitors of Lambton County to discover. The park not only features this 35-foot high waterfall but it also has a fossil museum, hiking trails and picnic areas, including two pavilions that can be reserved for gatherings.

The park is open year-round and the trails take you along the Gorge, through a mixed hard forest and down to the creek that is upstream from the Ausable River. You can see a variety of Carolinian forest trees in the park, along with wildflowers and wildlife.

Next week we take you along on a hike to a local park, Mandaumin Woods, to 'fill our emotional buckets' and show you some good Canadian winter. Get a nice hot cup of hot chocolate and join us next Thursday for a winter walk through the woods.
