Traction is a form of decompression therapy that is often applied to the spine in the case of herniated discs, sciatica, pinched nerves, and other low back and hip pain situations.

How does it work?

Our body is constantly under some sort of pressure, thanks to good old gravity. The idea with these exercises is to contrast that pressure, and with an alternate stimulus disrupt the pain cycle.

What you will notice with trying them is that one will likely produce a result significantly greater than the other 3 based on how your body holds the loads and pressures of your daily demands.
