Jaggy Glarino is a Filipino fashion designer known for fusing cultural heritage with modern, avant-garde expression. A self-taught talent with a background in nursing, his path has taken him from the Bench Design Awards, to Tokyo Fashion Week, to the International Fashion Showcase in London, and further studies at Central Saint Martins. More recently, he represented the Philippines at the SustAsia Fashion Prize, exhibited at the Vogue Philippines Threads 2024 at the Palais Galliera in Paris, and spoke at the Business of Fashion’s Crossroads talk in Dubai. Through his namesake brand, JAGGY, he builds emotionally charged, technically precise garments - balancing heritage and modernity, discipline and theatrics - to challenge and redefine perceptions of Filipino fashion.

Jaggy Glarino presents “IGNO” - a collection that confronts the weight of judgment often tied to the word “ignorante.” For Glarino, the word does not signal limitation but marks a beginning: the friction, the hunger, and the urgency of survival that comes with leaving the province for the city.

The collection captures the rawness of arrival - being nameless, unmoored, and tested by an unforgiving urban landscape that demands transformation. It inhabits the tension between what is carried and what must be shed.

IGNO resists glamorizing survival; instead, it documents it - honoring those who are still moving, still becoming, and refusing to disappear.
