A 12-year-old from Suffern NY is being labeled "the next Taylor Swift" after her appearance on "America's Got Talent."

Chasing News caught up with Grace VanderWaal during open mic night at Bean Runner Cafe in Peekskill. Until recently, that stage was the only place where Grace had performed. But after auditioning for "America's Got Talent," the judges fast-tracked Grace to the semifinals.

She says life has been hectic since her audition aired, but she's looking forward to what's next.
