Hezbollah ‘Dropped Plan’ To Hit Mossad HQ ‘With…’| Houthis Threaten Israel With ‘Painful Attack’

Hezbollah considered striking the headquarters of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency but decided against it at the last minute, Army Radio reported. Iran’s foreign ministry said Israel had lost its power to deter attacks from the “resistance” and that the strategic balance in the region had shifted against it. The Iranian military chief of staff reiterated that Iran’s response to Israeli assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran is “inevitable”. The Iran-backed Houthi rebels of Yemen vowed to carry out “painful strikes” against targets ‘deep inside Israel’. A far-right Israeli minister sparked fresh outrage on August 25 by saying he would build a synagogue at Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa mosque revered by Palestinian Muslims. "Arabs can pray wherever they want, so Jews should be able to pray wherever they want," Ben Gvir said, claiming the "current policy allows Jews to pray at this site”.
