Islamic Competition 2025 Concludes with Grand Award Ceremony at BUBT
March 18, 2025, The prestigious Islamic Competition 2025 successfully concluded with a grand award ceremony at the International Conference Hall of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). The event brought together students from various disciplines to showcase their excellence in Quran recitation, Quiz, Hamd-Naat, and Azan. Honorable Hafez Mawlana Mufti Kamrul Islam, Khatib of Rupnagar Nurani Zam-E-Masjid, graced the event as the Chief Guest, along with esteemed faculty members and distinguished guests.
The competition witnessed outstanding performances as participants demonstrated remarkable devotion, knowledge, and skill in their respective categories. Winners from different segments were awarded for their exceptional contributions, reflecting their deep understanding and passion for Islamic teachings. Among the notable achievers, Al-Amin (Economics, Intake 41) stood out by securing top positions in multiple categories, while Most. Rowsonara Ferdows (CSE, Intake 54) emerged as the champion in the Female Quran Recitation category.
The event was further enriched by the presence of Prof. Dr. A B M Shawkat Ali, Vice Chancellor of BUBT, who highlighted the significance of such competitions in nurturing both academic and spiritual excellence. He stated, "Competitions like these not only encourage students to enhance their religious knowledge but also instill a sense of discipline and morality, shaping them into responsible individuals."
Prof. Mian Lutfar Rahman, Member of BUBT Trust, also emphasized the importance of integrating religious values into academic life. In his speech, he said, "The dedication and passion shown by students in this competition are truly inspiring. We believe that fostering Islamic knowledge alongside academic excellence will contribute to the holistic development of our future leaders."
Additionally, Dr. Md. Harun-or-Rashid, Registrar of BUBT, praised the efforts of both participants and organizers, expressing his gratitude for the initiative. He remarked, "It is heartening to see students actively engaging in religious and cultural activities. Such programs strengthen our identity and promote a sense of unity and harmony among students."
The Islamic Competition 2025 concluded with a collective commitment to continue such initiatives in the future, ensuring that students have a platform to develop both their academic and spiritual capabilities.
