Mithun Manhas' is the story of the quintessential middle-class Indian boy who wants to make it big in sport. Mithun was fortunate enough to be blessed with the talent and tenacity to be able to a achieve his dreams.
For a boy who got introduced to the sport in the back-alleys of a non-descript colony in Jammu, Mithun went on to retire as the third highest EVER run getter in the prestigious Ranji Trophy.
He put to sword every Indian bowler at some stage or the other, this including some of the biggest names to have played the sport in India. Among his achievements was being appointed Captain of a strong Delhi side, at the tender age of 21 beating a three decade long record held by the late Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi. As a Captain, he also had the distinction of winning the Ranji Trophy, Deodhar Trophy and the Irani Trophy.
Mithun also put on display his talent in the prestigious Indian Premier League for over a decade.
