The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. (Psalm 37:23 NLT)

Think about the last time you drove somewhere and needed to use a map or your GPS. Along the way, there were instructions, telling you what roads to travel on, the exits to take and where to turn. With the right tools, you have every detail you need to travel and get to your destination. If you did not have these resources, it would be difficult to navigate.

The same goes for our lives. We make plans based on our talents and dreams. However, we frequently find trouble when we don’t have the right details to guide us towards those plans.

Here’s the key. When we put our faith completely in the Lord, He provides the tools and details we need to navigate through our lives. There is nothing about our future He doesn’t know.

Work hard and chase after your dreams, but don’t set out upon the journey yourself. Trust in the Lord and know that our steps are directed!
