Expecting another visit of Tangmere with the Dalesman we were surprised - I was delighted - that 33029 had been used in place of the ailing Tangmere (electrical problem? meaning AWS or TPWS faults?)

It was a lovely sunning warm still day so after the Dalesman departed I went north to Springfield nd Quintinshill to watch the trains at speed of in the loops.
