Based on an AU my friends and I wrote with our OCs. After an encounter with notorious pirates, ships containing royalty from two kingdoms are stuck on an island alongside a smaller group of bandits who have been stuck on this same island for quite a while. Sterling, a member of the crew that was here first, is tricked into giving up the princes to the Leviathan that guards the island. With both princes now in the hands of the pirates, Sterling has become a traitor to the people on the island and to his own country.
