Using Full Site Editing (FSE) in Block Themes

If your theme supports Full Site Editing (FSE), creating a custom single post template is easier and code-free.

Go to Site Editor: Navigate to Appearance 👉️ Editor.

Access Templates: In the Site Editor, click on Templates or Template Parts.
Edit or Add a New Single Post Template:

Look for the Single Post template. You can edit the default layout here.

If you want a new template for a specific post type, create a new template by clicking on Add New and selecting Single.

Customize the Layout: Use the block editor to add, remove, or rearrange blocks. For example, you might want to add:

Post Title Block for the title.

Post Content Block for the main content.

Post Featured Image Block for the featured image.

Post Author, Post Date, and Post Categories Blocks to display meta information.

Related Posts Block (if supported by your theme or plugins).

Comments Block to enable comments.
