received today was that a serious road accident occured on Accra-Kumasi road. Fellow Ghanaians same old story same old Accra Kumasi road, year after year accidents
after accidents; Very unfortunate. Now the accident resulted from one of the vehicles heading to Accra overtaking some vehicles on the road which led to a head on
collision with the one heading to Ashanti's capital that's Kumasi. The sad incident had happened at Akyem Asafo in the Eastern region of Ghana which claimed 16
lives. Very very sad. 16 good lives lost instantly and several injured in critical condition. These are some of the images of the damaged vehicles.
Most of the injured victims had been rushed to the Koforidua Government Hospital for treatment and the deceased also sent there. If you know someone who travelled
on the Kumasi Accra road and can't hear from them, head to the hospital, That's the Koforidua Government Hospital; that's where the casualties were sent.
