YESSS, I talked to Sumit Mishra who is pursuing MS in Robotics at KAIST, South Korea.

KAIST is the known as MIT of Asia with QS ranking of 42. KAIST offers 100% funding to international students for Bachelor’s and MS programs. It covers:

Full Tuition Fee: tuition exemption for 4 sem (MS) / 8 sem (PhD)
Living expenses: 350,000 KRW per month (for MS) or 400,000 KRW per month (for PhD)
Medical Insurance
Additional Stipend for Research Assistants in Graduate program (Professors pay 900-1500K KRW per month in MS, for PhD 1200-2500k KRW)

All in all, the scholarship covers 12 lakh worth of tuition fee and pays you 25K per month in living expenses. Sumit also for the research assistantship, so he is earning 82K/month.

For reference, living expense (including everything) in Daejeon campus is ~350K KRW per month (read 25-30K INR).

There are other scholarships offered by Korean Govt like GKS scholarships which also cover airfare and resettlement allowance! In it one has to learn korean language one-year pre-degree starting date and is support by GKS.

Best part - Indians don’t even need to take TOEFL or IELTS. You can simply submit EPT report and qualify for IELTS exemption. GRE is suggested but not compulsory.

I usually don’t talk about scholarships in other countries because I am not sure how legit they are but this information is coming directly from Sumit. He said that he couldn’t afford applying to US, Canada etc. He had a good research profile and wanted to do more research. He came across KAIST which is research oriented school and a great place in Asia and he is literally studying and living there for free and even saving around 50k INR per month in MS. He only asked me to share this info with you all.
