Meninges - Extraaxial fluid Subarachnoid vs Subdural

Описание к видео Meninges - Extraaxial fluid Subarachnoid vs Subdural

Quick talk on the meninges..

The meninges are made of the three layers of the dura matter.

✅Dura matter - divided into periosteal and meningeal layers
✅Arachnoid matter - thin transparent membrane that contains cerebrospinal fluid
✅Pia matter - delicate innermost membrane enveloping the brain and spinal cord

We typically encounter small amount of fluid around the brain in infants, this finding is typically called extra axial fluid. The most common site this fluid is seen at is in the subarachnoid space. Here I show you how to differentiate between subarachnoid and subdural.
