«Why IMO these are players worth checking out their play»
A premier Dhalsim player, IBSG|Torimeshi has completely stuck with the Yoga Master, no alt characters, all gas no brakes on the Zen master and they've been able to take themselves to solid results in the few events they thrown their hat into! They had a big Top 12 EVO 2025 finish and Top 48 at EVO Japan 2025, 2nd at Topanga Championship 6, the Iron Man marathon tournament, and at the third and most recent CPT 2025 Japan World Warrior Event that just popped off, they finished 2nd! A bit of an enigma, with that 3rd event being the only World Warrior event they entered at that point, they entered the other two, finishing Top 16 and then 3rd in the final event, securing the number 1 Seed in the Region Finals! Going into the Grand Finals of the Region Finals on the Winner's side, Kincho came up big resetting the bracket then winning the second set, avenging IBSG|Torimeshi in the runback where they faced off in the first Round of this bracket. Coming oh so close, on what is one of the most difficult pathways to Capcom Cup IBSG|Torimeshi ended up 2nd. No doubt we'll be seeing their Dhalsim back stronger in Season 4, certainly a player primed to show us how OD Dhalsim can be on a long enough timeline where they're not nerfed!
They stepped into the arena with the player who I think at this point has had the most successful Season 3, with no other player winning as many CPT 2025 Premier events as DRX|Leshar, and deep runs in the two biggest tournaments this year (also CPT Premiers)! After a big 3rd place finish at Capcom Cup 11, there was no half stepping into Season 3 for DRX|Leshar, they finished 5th/6th at the stacked 7K+ EVO Japan 2025 player bracket, 7th/8th at EVO 2025, and won the following Premiers Combo Breaker 2025, CEO 2025, and EVO France 2025! And somewhere amongst that CPT domination, ostensibly securing Capcom Cup 12 spots 3 times over, they finished 3rd at Esports World Cup 2025 getting their biggest tournament pay out of the year! And of course, being the young gun on the team of Street Fighter/FGC legends, Team REJECT in SFL JP 2025, DRX|Leshar did their part to help the team win SFL Japan 2025, with the Team punching their ticket to the Trinity of teams in the World Finals! Certainly one of the heavy Capcom Cup 12 favorites, no doubt it's going to be hype watching their run and see if they'll be able to confirm their Capcom Cup 13 spot by winning Capcom Cup 12 or with a Team REJECT win at SFL, and the way DRX|Leshar's season has went, there's a very good chance both outcomes are realized!
