NITIE Prerana Management Group welcomes you to the NITIE Prerana Leadership Talk. This year we are honoured to host Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy, Secretary – Department of Defence R&D and the Chairman of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy spearheads the indigenous development of defence systems and technologies. He also led Mission Shakti- India's first successful anti-satellite (ASAT) missile test. Dr. Reddy's efforts were also instrumental in developing the world's longest-range gun, the ATAGS, anti-radiation missiles, smart airfield weapons, smart bombs, and missile aided torpedo release systems. He is also the first Indian in over 100 years to be conferred with the Honorary Fellowship and Silver Medal by the Royal Aeronautical Society, London, for his contributions towards weapons systems, aerospace vehicles and avionics technologies in India.

Dr. Reddy is a promoter of cutting-edge research and innovation in diverse fields with tremendous contribution towards realizing the vision of a self-reliant India.
