วัดพิชัยสงคราม ตั้งอยู่ที่ตำบลปากน้ำ จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ เป็นวัดเก่าแก่แต่ครั้งกรุงศรีอยุธยาตอนปลายเดิมเรียกว่า "วัดโพธิ์" หรือ "วัดนอก" ด้านหน้าวัดปัจจุบันเป็นตลาด สุดตลาดฝั่งตรงข้ามวัดเป็นท่าน้ำข้ามไปพระสมุทรเจดีย์ เมื่อครั้งรัชกาลที่ ๒ พระยาพิชัยสงครามได้มาสร้างป้อมปราการไว้ป้องกันข้าศึกและได้บูรณะวัดนอกเมื่อรัชกาลที่ ๒ เสด็จพระราชดำเนินมาทอดผ้าพระกฐินได้พระราชทานนามวัดว่า "วัดพิชัยสงคราม"
