A documentary film dedicated to the work of C. P. Cavafy pertaining to the Byzantine era, a hidden category of his poetry that has not been sufficiently addressed.

The film comprises of a basic introduction from Helene Ahrweiler and an assortment of eleven poems, read by renowned members of the academic community, researchers, experts on Cavafy's body of work, shedding light on this aspect of the great poet, for what may be the first time.
