TT Superbikes: Real Road Racing - The Motorcycle Sim Benchmark

Jester Interactive's TT Superbikes: Real Road Racing emerged onto the market in 2005. It came as a surprise since the developer was more famous for its MTV tie-in 'Music' franchise than hardcore motorcycle simulators.

However, as we find out in our video retrospective, Jester Interactive's enthusiasm for the Isle of Man TT - the famous fortnight of motorcycle culture and road racing - shines through.

The classic PlayStation 2 game features realistic bike physics with a learning curve steeper than Snaefell Mountain, which made it quite frustrating at times. However, as a result, nailing a perfect lap on the 37.73-mile TT course was one of the most satisfying experiences in sim racing.

With the Isle of Man TT set to get underway soon after Covid-enforced postponements in 2020 and 2021, we felt that now is a great time to look back on a hidden PS2 sim racing gem.
