Yamaha R1 ISNT As FAST As YOU THINK | MT-10 vs R1| Sport Bike vs Naked Bike | 1000cc Motorcycle Race

In this video I ride Eric's (@ItsMeEricB) 2017 Yamaha MT-10 and race it against my 2014 Yamaha R1. Nate is riding my Yamaha R1 and Eric is riding my 2019 Husqvarna 701 Supermoto in this video. Eric's MT-10 does have an ECU flash and has been tuned. My Yamaha R1 has a -1 front sprocket and that is it. I will be doing a quickshifter and an ECU flash on my Yamaha R1 very soon.

After watching the video, you'll see that the MT-10 and R1 are very close until about 120-130mph. After that, the Yamaha R1 starts to pull away from the MT-10 because it is more aerodynamic and tuned for top end speed. The MT-10 (FZ-10) is a wheelie MONSTER. I was barely able to keep that front wheel down.
