Home care worker cooperative members have been battered by the relentless onslaught of an ongoing global pandemic and political turmoil that has wreaked havoc on every part of our lives, most especially our own health and wellbeing. In these unprecedented times of transformation and upheaval, how do we develop and strengthen the skills to ground and center ourselves in our authentic power as everything around us changes?

With a decolonizing lens and holistic framework, we'll reflect on the importance and impacts of caring for ourselves - learning about the physiological impacts of stress on our bodies, our minds, and our work, and together explore simple but powerful techniques to care for ourselves so that we can show up for our clients and our families, and foster more joy and authentic connection in our lives. In a nonjudgmental and intentional space of community building, you will come out of this session with a simple wellness plan and new friends.
