To make your own fluffy ball, all you need to do is crochet a small amigurumi ball, brush the yarn until it becomes fluffy, and add some eyes.

Note about yarn: You’ll be using a wire pet slicker brush to make the yarn fluffy, but it doesn’t work with all types of yarn. I used super bulky acrylic yarn. Most kinds of acrylic should work, as long as it’s the kind that’s smooth and shiny, and not microspun acrylic. You can also use different yarn weights to make different size balls. Just choose a crochet hook that matches your yarn weight.
