Sanyasi Behera was the first-ever divyang to have cracked the prestigious OAS exam, conducted by the OPSC in 2015. A journey that dated back to 2006 and was intact for almost 10 years as 43 years old, Sanyasi Behera, became the first-ever, visually impaired OAS officer who excelled among the 8 visually-impaired and 5 hearing-impaired candidates who cleared the Odisha Public Service Commission examination. He was ranked 220th position in the list of 670 candidates who appeared for the same.
The talk of his speaks of his vigor and spirit turning something unimaginable to achievable. Sanyasi Behera is the first divyang(visually impaired) to clear the prestigious Odisha Civil Services Examination in the year 2015.
He was ranked 220th position in the list of 670 candidates in the examination conducted by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) and topped among the 14 differently-abled candidates who cleared the same.
