Another month, another track of this project. Happy to have this done, it turned out to be a much longer track than I anticipated. As I am currently dwelling in the post-rock genre I caught a few influences from bands like "We lost the sea". The title Homeostasis is pretty much what it literally means, the capability of an organism to maintain a stable system, by the music indicated by very stale sections with little changes and more repeats, but also with bpm increases to indicate situations of stress, high performance, anxiety. And notably the simulation of heart and lung function through the instrumentation. Musically, this track is a bit more unique in my portfolio as it incorporates bass much more prominent than earlier projects and gives it more room to shine (within its limited skill framework). This is also the first track to ever feature mic recordings even if saved for just the very last seconds of the track. But it adds nicely the concept of this track.
