WeDo 2.0 Elevator with Cable & Sensor

This is yet another prototype version of an Automatic Cable Elevator. This design is using the kit's distance sensor and motor. When elevator is instructed by the user to go up, automation waits until the sensor detects the cabin and then stops the motor. When elevator is instructed to go down, a timer is used to stop the cabin. There are three different sets of programs shown at the end of the video. The construction was assembled from a single WeDo 2.0 kit - no extra parts were used.
