Chandalika || Tagore Dance Drama || Nataraj Kala Kendra

Tagore's play Chandalika is a short two act play. The story of the play revolves round only three characters – Prakriti, a chandal Girl.
Ananda, a Buddhist monk (Bhikshu) and Prakriti's mother who has magic powers. " Tagore presents a psychological study of young woman who suffers on account of her vanity and self-consciousness.
