David Philips - Harley Benton CLF 200 NT guitar test

I wanted a guitar to travel with that was good enough for small gigs and writing but I didn't mind taking to the beach and generally bashing around a bit. I had read some good reports about the Harley Benton CLF 200 NT but there aren't many well recorded videos on YT of the guitar in use. I decided to take a risk and got one, for 200 euros it wasn't going to be a huge disaster if it didn't work out. You can hear for yourself how it sounds here but general impressions after 4 or 5 days of use are that it's pretty damn awesome! Really well made, looks great, set up perfect out the box and sounds exactly how I wanted it to, like a funky little bluesy/folky parlor with plenty of bite and character and a nice low end. Hope this video helps you make a decision if you're considering one.
