When using the VATSIM client vPilot, finding a good volume level can be challenging as some people have their mics set low while others are set high. To combat this, I have implemented a free and low-resource method for compressing the application's audio so that the volume is more consistent.

While this video focuses on vPilot, these steps can also be applied to other applications as well.
