Welcome to the December 2024 real estate market update. Of the homes that closed in November, about 50% of the homes took a price reduction before going under contract. In about 60% of those homes that closed, the sellers gave sellers concessions to buyers.
A few months ago I did a video about sellers being delusional and so many of them pricing their homes too high! Some of these sellers are seeing reality and lowering the prices on their homes to actually get it sold. This is great news for homebuyers. Finally buyers have a bit of power in the real estate market!
