"Shape-shifting along the California Coast." Dale Laitinen of Pioneer, California shows his trademark California style with a coastal scene. He uses primarily wide (1-1/2", 2", and 3") flat brushes to put in the main shapes. Then at the end does details with small round brushes. He illustrates at the conclusion how to use Titanium White for highlights here and there.
Dale's demo is followed by a brief look at the WASH Painting of the Month for August 2021.
WASH (Watercolor Artists of Sacramento Horizons) is the largest organization devoted to watercolor in California's Central Valley.
