(PATENTED BY OYATE OTA ) FIRE DOME INIPI - This was shown to me in a vision. It was a small tipi like cone around a pole frame inside a sweat lodge type dome wit smoke / wind deflector on top as you will see in the following accompanying videos . I said in 1980 when I needed shelter a conceived this idea that this would be a great portable emergency shelter for victims of natural disasters or any situation where people are in need of shelter. it is great for camping since it is portable, has heat for cooking inside. heat, light. The 1st one was 21' dia. and others were smaller down to 14'. The dome body ,floor and liner were canvas duck and the fire cone was heavier flame resistant duck. I used PVC water line pole for the framework and clear mylar for some round windows and aluminum for the smoke / wind deflector. I lived in and tested the functionality of this design for some months in various locations with different environment and climates and seasons. The fire cone never experienced any damage from heat even when I let the flames 3/4 way up inside the cone, in fact it was never hot to the touch. The smoke / wind deflector was aluminum sheeting formed into a half cone with flared flaps and a fin on back and sat on a tripod which it pivoted on. This kept any rain out and kept the back to the wind and allowed smoke out and was very sensitive to any change in wind direction no matter how slight or violent the wind and any sparks or embers were cooled and arrested before they left the opening and I never saw even one escape. Wind was never a problem since the aerodynamic dome shape allowed the wind to go around without pushing the structure. There would be some peripheral smoke drift away from the fire at times when the surrounding air would be disturbed by movement disrupting the air flow. Oxygen for the fire was derived from a tube or trough leading under the floor from the outside to under the fire pit. The structure required 20 +- min. to erect. If there Is an investor interested in producing this on a large scale using other materials I would be interested in discussing it with you. This would be a good opportunity to make some money and be of benefit to others.
