Meteor 75Pro vs. 75Air which one should you buy?

In short:

Both are great whoops!

If you are an outdoor race pilot (most of the time): Meteor 75 Pro
If you are an indoor race pilot (most of the time): Meteor Air 75
If you are an outdoor freestyle pilot (most of the time): Meteor 75Pro
If you are an indoor freestyle pilot (most of the time): Meteor Air75
If you want a whoop for which a professional pid tune is available on the net for free: 75Pro
If you want a durable whoop: 75 Pro with some modifications (longer main cable or pigtale, and some metal screws instead of the plastic poles to hold the flightcontroller in the frame) or 75 Air with 380mah Lipos


Advantages 75 Pro
Battery slot is narrow, holds the lipo well
Battery well protected in the frame
Durable frame
Durable canopy
Flies pretty well even with motor plugs
Motors can be changed quickly (motor plugs)
Flies well outdoors
There is a professional pid tune from uavtech for free
Has good camera
Good flight time max. 6:40min stock and max. 8:30min ButterflyFPV Edition
Weight helps with some freestyle maneuvers (a matter of taste)
Motor shaft 1.5mm
Double Ball-bearings

Disadvantages 75 Pro
All up weight heavier than other smaller whoops
Not as fast in indoor racing as lighter whoops
The original main cable is unfortunately a bit too short and too thin (flies better with AWG20)
There aren't that many props to choose from yet
Doesn't fly well with 2 blades

Advantages 75 Air
Very maneuverable due to its light weight
Quite good for indoor racing (if you switch to 3-blade props)
Has good camera
Pretty efficient thanks to the 23k engines
Some like the light weight for freestyle (a matter of taste)

Disadvantages 75 Air
Props break more quickly because the frame is so soft, especially if you want to fly with 3-blade props
Comes with 2-blade props
Not very durable when flown with original 450mah lipo
Frame not quite as durable
Canopy not quite as durable
