You can use it to by anything on the ship. Restaurants bars gift shop et.Theres two types
regular and Bar Cruise Cash. Bar Cruise Cash can only be used at the bar.

I purchased the regular Cruise Cash that can be used anywhere on the ship.

There's different increments starting at $25.
You can use a debit/credit card to pre purchase Cruise Cash. The Cruise cash will be added to your sign and sail account. Or can be gifted to someone. If you don't use all the Cruise Cash you will loose the remaining money.
