Bajra Flour Base: We’ll start by kneading a soft and pliable dough using bajra flour. Bajra is a gluten-free grain rich in fiber, iron, and antioxidants.
Six Leafy Greens: Our star ingredients include spinach, fenugreek leaves (methi), amaranth leaves (chaulai), mustard greens (sarson), bathua, and coriander leaves. Each green brings its unique flavor and health benefits to the table.
Spices and Flavors: We’ll infuse our rotis with aromatic spices like cumin, ajwain (carom seeds), and red chili powder. A pinch of asafoetida (hing) adds depth to the taste.

Ingredients:
2 cups bajra flour (pearl millet flour)
1 cup mixed leafy greens (spinach, fenugreek leaves, amaranth leaves, mustard greens, bathua, and coriander leaves), finely chopped
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon ajwain (carom seeds)
½ teaspoon red chili powder
A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
Salt to taste
Water (as needed for kneading)
Ghee or oil for cooking

Method:
Prepare the Dough:
Heat 1 cup of water (hot but not boiling).
Switch off the heat and add 1 teaspoon of oil and salt. Mix well.
Gradually add 2 to 2.5 cups of bajra flour to the water. Knead into a smooth, firm dough. Divide into small portions and roll them into balls.
Flatten and Cook:
Take a dough ball and flatten it between your palms to form a small disc.
Roll it into a thick roti using a rolling pin or tap it by hand.
Heat a non-stick tawa and cook the rotis on medium heat until both sides are golden brown.
Press gently with a cloth or spatula to allow them to puff up.
Serve Hot:
Serve Ram Roti hot or warm with your favorite chutney or side dish.

Notes:
Feel free to add finely chopped onions or other veggies to the dough for extra flavor.
