Every week after the store closes, I ask Lou what new things he got in. Now we can share this with all of you!
This week on Sweet Lou's : New Pokemon! Scarlet and Violet Twilight Masquerade Booster Box, Elite Trainer Box and packs with coins and either a Toxel or Pupitar card.
Lou also got in some really old stuff. A 1920 Jack Britton reverse image boxing card, Several 2023 silver rounds and a 1900 and an 1879 silver round, a lot of 1970s to 1980s Hot Wheels still in the packages, and lots of books, from Dungeons and Dragons, Star Trek, Star Wars, DC, Marvel, WarHammer, Aliens, Alien vs. Predator, and many more!
Sweet Lou's in a Comic and Collectible store in Millington Michigan. It's owned and run by Lou Burkowski and his wife Becky. It's been open since 1990, and has the largest stock of vintage and new collectibles around! Every week Lou is buying collections from people, or receiving newly released products. These might include Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the Gathering, Star Wars, action figures, comics and graphic novels, sports cards and memorabilia, Funkos, and so much more. He's had a guitar autographed by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and just got in an autographed album from Michigan's own Eminem. He also has gold and silver available for purchase. Some items are sold on eBay, but if you're local and interested in something, just let Lou know. Lou is also a school teacher and Becky is a nurse, so the store is only open on Saturdays from 10 to 5.
Some of the many comic books and action figures are based on Superheroes such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the X-Men, Iron Man, and many others. Sweet Lou's also has a huge collection of vintage to newer Star Wars action figures and memorabilia. As well as Star Trek for the Trekkies out there. Want Smurfs? We've got those too!
