Canberra Qwire joins #resolution2020 global movement on climate action and sings World on Our Shoulders from our individual homes 'couch choir' style.

“If there is one lesson from this year, it is that real Action on Climate is urgent, and Canberra Qwire is participating in this global call to action,” said Anne-Marie Delahunt, Qwire Convenor.

Qwire’s Musical Director Karen Wilden noted, “The devastation of the bushfire season made our involvement in the global movement #resolution2020 an important part of the message we wanted to share with the Canberra community through music.”

Qwire's theme for this year 2020 is 'Nature', chosen to recognise the United Nations International Year of Plant Health. Canberra's recent experience acutely reflects the great perils our world is heading towards and how urgent it has become.

We are all standing with the World on Our Shoulders. Let's make a resolution to keep it safe. Because together we can.
