In this tutorial I’ll make a phonk beat in GarageBand, I hope you got something out of this video.

I’m doing something different and making a tutorial :). Some people might want too learn how to make phonk. Just remember that this is my type of phonk. It’s not really the classic phonk that some may think about, but it sounds a little the same :).

Phonk (/fɒŋk/ ) is a subgenre of hip hop and trap music directly inspired by 1990s Memphis rap. Mostly present on the SoundCloud platform, the music is characterized by vocals from old Memphis rap tapes and samples from early-1990s hip hop, often combining them with sounds from jazz and funk.
