Dear friends, i recently visited shree Somnath Mahadev Mandir, which is first Jyotirlinga among 12. As you know because of Pandemic, protocols are changed for darshan at each big temple of India. So in this video i will summarize the procedure for Darshan at Shree Somnath Temple. It's located in Prabhas Patan near Veraval Gujarat.
In this video, we guide you through this Amazing Place and also give you some tips if you are planning to visit here.

How to Reach:
Somnath is Well Connected with Diu, Rajkot, Ahmedabad by Air / Train / Bus.
Nearest Airport: DIU – 85 Kms. ,
Rajkot – 200 Kms,
Ahmedabad – 390 Km.
Nearest Railway Station – Somnath – 0.5 Km, Veraval – 7 Km.

Where to stay:
Somnath has a number of Guest House, Hotels & Dharamshalas, Somnath Trust has its own Guesthouses which has an online booking facility too. Click here for booking https://booking.somnath.org/GuestHouse/​
rest of it you can book your stay at hotels from various websites. (TIP: Book your room in advance if you are visiting during School vacations or festival period.) room rent starts from INR.500 to INR 4000+ depending upon the season.

Entry, Darshan & Aarti Timings:
All the Electronic/Electric Equipment, Gadgets are strictly prohibited (viz. Mobile, Camera, laptop, tablets, calculators, Even your Remote Car Key, etc.). keep all these items at your room or you can be stored in Lockers available in Cloak Room. The Cloakroom facility is free of cost. The digital locker is chargeable.

Darshan Timing is from 6 AM to 9.30PM.
Aarti Timings : Morning = 7:00​ Am, 12:00Noon, 7:00​Pm.

Light And Sound Show Timing = 8PM To 9PM. (take your tickets in the evening)
(Except in the Monsoon / Rainy Season).

Wheel Chairs / Golf Cart is available for physically challenged / Senior Citizens at the Main Gate of the Temple. And Lift Facility is available inside the temple premise.

Apart from this, you can also visit nearby places by Auto, Bus or your own car.
Triveni Sangam Ghat, Triveni ghat in Somnath deserves special mention as a holy place as per Indian mythology since it finds mention even in epics such as the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. This is the meeting place of three important rivers i.e. Hiran, Kapila and Saraswati before they finally empty themselves out in the Arabian Sea. Here you can take a holy bath or just hang around & feed some birds.
