This Is My Fathers World

During this time of social distancing due to Covid-19, choir has become a different experience. We are grateful to see each other and chat each week via Zoom online meetings, but we so miss hearing our voices lifted together in song. I am incredibly proud of this group of students—their faithfulness and commitment to each other and to their choir are evident in this performance. We have had the unique and wonderful experience of serving as Isaac’s lab choir as he has perfected this arrangement, and had looked forward to performing the world premier at our concert on April 2nd. While a virtual choir in no way replaces a live experience, we hope you enjoy this virtual world premier of “My Father’s World”. Special thanks to Chris Chapman and Jacob Lowery, Chamber Singers dads, for their generous gifts of time and talent to put this virtual performance together.

Nashville Notes Chamber Singers is a select choir of homeschool students in grades 8-12 from across Middle Tennessee, and part of the Nashville Notes Homeschool Music Association. We rehearse once a week, and participate regularly in regional choral festivals, Biltmore Candlelight Tour, and local performances.
