Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Ep. II - Seasonal Sky Panic! ~ Sky Fortress Zone Act 2 【SNES Lily-mix】

It's been a hot minute since I last did something Sonic related, and I just really felt the need to get back on that grind with this one. I also just really like Sonic the Portable's compositions in general, so I thought I do one of Episode II's best stage theme.

Also made this another Touhou mashup, 'cuz I am stuck with Touhou music brainrot for all of eternity, and it's both a blessing and a curse.

I enjoy both Sonic 4 episodes quite a bit, despite their vast flaws, but I also feel like the reason why I don't despise these games like I do some other "over-nostalgic" throwbacks (*cough* NSMBU *cough*) is because I played both games on mobile growing up, and I was also like 9 and 11 when I first played both of these. Wrongful physics aside, I think these two games are fairly enjoyable as bite-sized snacks you play on the go (as they were meant to be) but nowhere near as solid as DIMPs other 2D Sonic games, and of course, the OG 16-Bit / 8-Bit saga + Superstars & Mania.
