In our plugins, we can create an EventListener or a ViewEventListener to listen for application events, which allows us to keep track of what's happening or react to actions being taken. What sort of events can we listen for?

There are a variety of events that we can listen for, most of which are shared between both EventListener classes and ViewEventListener classes.

In this lesson, we do a breakdown of some of the more common events to listen for, which allow us to tell when files are being loaded and modified, detecting when the user is moving through the file, and even how to intercept commands and detect mouse hover state.
