YaCy Tutorial #07 Location Search with OpenStreetMap and GeoNames

Описание к видео YaCy Tutorial #07 Location Search with OpenStreetMap and GeoNames

Create your own map search with YaCy: we use spatial information in the GeoNames database combination with OpenStreetMap to identify and visualize locations. The video shows how to activate and use this in YaCy.

To add your own locations you can crawl web pages with geolocalization tags: the html must have one of the following attributes:

"ICBM" meta-tags like:
meta name="ICBM" content="47.0667, 15.4500"
or
"geo.position" meta-tags like
meta name="geo.position" content="47.0667;15.4500"
or
location-text in the plain text of html like
"N 52o 28.025 E 013o 20.299"
