Sick Sentry 14V-B Siren Test -- 5/11/24 -- Alert -- Grinnell, IA

Описание к видео Sick Sentry 14V-B Siren Test -- 5/11/24 -- Alert -- Grinnell, IA

I was planning to go somewhere close to the Des Moines area for first Saturday siren testing, but all of the tests got cancelled due to bad weather. I checked on Facebook if any towns or counties reschedule testing to the following week, leading me to find out that Poweshiek County in fact did reschedule their siren test. I decided to go to this 14V-B located at a swimming pool on the west side of town. Initially, the siren test seemed to go smoothly, but in the middle of the test, this siren's pitch has dropped significantly and was still decreasing slowly until the test was over, leading me to believe that this siren has a bad motor. This concerned me due to this siren and the rest of the sirens in Poweshiek County (except Guernsey) being only in service for around two years. I have called the sheriff's office to bring this fault to their attention.
