2008 Lincoln Navigator Coolant Tee Leak Repair

Описание к видео 2008 Lincoln Navigator Coolant Tee Leak Repair

This is a repair video for a common coolant hose tee leak for 2008 Lincoln Navigators with this type configuration for coolant hoses. The plastic coolant hose coupling becomes brittle over time, for my Navigator is was about 110K miles, and then when the engine rpm's increase, the leak increases, but may not be visible during low rpm's. One of the key's for this video is the use of a Dremel tool to remove the plastic couplings without damaging the rubber hoses, which allows you to reuse the hoses with a new tee. The Dremel allows you to precision notch the plastic and then use a screw driver to break them apart. Hope this video is helpful and I welcome your feedback and comments. The replacement Ford hose part is about $75 dollars, the O'Reilly Auto Parts tee is about $8.
