Inertia friction welding drill / pipe machine and operation video. The perfect friction welder for standard oil & gas drilling operations. This MTI inertia friction welder model 90B, 6.5 ton (13K lb max., 57.82 kN max.) forge force, has a 12,000 max. RPM rating and can weld 1.0 in sq (645 mm sq) max. tubular area. This inertia welder is equipped with an automated part loading and uploading system to assist in the process of rapidly joining engine valve stems comprised of dissimilar metals.

This dual language inertia friction welder for drill pipe has 350,000 lbs of forge force, 1500 RPM max., and welds tooljoints to 6.625 O.D. max. API pipe (19 sq inches max. weld area).
